Employment: The staffing at Early
Autumns exceeds the state's requirement. We usually run
13-14 employees to care for 20 residents. Many of our
staff have been with us for 5-15 years. We train our
newcomers with a training designed by our owner/administrator
Sharral Tye. It is called TiP which stands for Training
in Place. Sharral has marketed this training to several
residential care facilities and vo-tech schools in
Oklahoma. Our staff is kind of like our
residents--we are a family. Each staffer receives at least 8
hours of training each year. If they are direct
caregivers, they must be on the nurse aide registry within
four months of holding that position. We have an
administrator, a manager, an activity director, one to two
caregivers on each shift in addition to housekeeping and
cooking staff. This is a good place to work and a home
that families can be assured that the turnover is low.
Sharral Tye, our administrator and Lynn Bradley, our manager
can be reached at 405-377-2439.
